Steve Purdom, MD
Steve is the President of EnneagramLasVegas, which he founded in 2009, and which is now joyfully celebrating its 15th anniversary. Prior to becoming immersed in the Enneagram, Steve was a physician in internal medicine. For 18 years, he had a private medical practice and also founded both the Columbus Clinic with 20 physicians and the Columbus Diagnostic Clinic. In addition, Steve was Chief of Staff of Doctor’s Hospital.
Taking his leadership to the next level, Steve joined the board of Aflac, a Fortune 200 insurance company, then became their Medical Director and, subsequently, their Executive Vice President in charge of U.S. Operations. After retiring from that position in 2000, Steve has been dedicated to his own personal growth and committed to sharing the Enneagram with as many people as possible.
Initially certified by Jerry Wagner, Steve also studied with other highly respected Enneagram teachers. Steve has now become an Enneagram teacher himself, having taught more than 1000 people the Enneagram. In addition, he has developed the Teenage Enneagram Development Program (TEDP), teaching the Enneagram to hundreds of teenagers. Steve’s other focus is using the Enneagram in relationships and with couples, concentrating on resolving conflict and making ourselves easier to live with.
